Dawn was launched to study two dwarf planets or asteroids called Ceres (1-Ceres) and Vesta (4-Vesta). It was the first spacecraft to actually orbit these small space bodies as previously this technology was not available and space probes were limited to doing flyby's.
Where is Dawn Spacecraft now?
Currently Dawn is --,---,--- (--,---,---) from Ceres, racing through the solar system at --,--- (--,---, --) .

How fast is Dawn going?
The dead spacecraft is moving about the sun at a speed of --,--- (--,---, --) in an uncontrolled orbit of Ceres. Compare that to Vesta, which is rushing around the sun at --,--- (--,---, --)
When did the space mission end?
On 1st November 2018, when the spacecraft's hydrazine fuel finally ran out.
Check out the simulation, where you can observe and track the trajectory of Dawn spacecraft from launch to retirement, and explore the solar system.
